A Network Query retrieves available source data on demand and reports source-specific completion. ADT is a subscription: once a patient is enrolled in premium monitoring, admission, transfer, and discharge events are pushed to you in real time.

Enrollment additions and removals process weekly on Saturdays. After enrollment is active, resulting admit, transfer, and discharge events are delivered in real time.

Each notification identifies the patient, the event type, and the source, with a URL for the related FHIR Patient Encounter Bundle so the clinical record can be retrieved alongside the event.
