How Does It Work?
Metriport indexes various parts of the patient's medical history in real-time, creating a comprehensive, searchable view that understands medical context and terminology.
Our intelligent search engine processes structured data (lab results, medications, vital signs, conditions, and more) alongside unstructured clinical notes, discharge summaries, and imaging reports.
Examples
Accelerated chart review:
- Instantly find all mentions of a specific condition, medication, or procedure across years of medical history. For example, searching “Diabetes” can surface more than just relevant conditions—family member history, labs, and other relevant details get surfaced as well.
Urgent care:
- Quickly surface critical information like allergies or medications at the point-of-care in urgent care settings.
